Story is possibly the most intricate Aida Bergsen collection. A miniature chain-link dance is the main hero. An enchanted array of butterflies and bees, hovering around delicate twigs that are dotted with engraved gold leaves or flowers, make for charming chain links, as seen in long or short pendant earrings, a bracelet and four-finger ring. The meticulous gold work combines yellow gold, blackened gold and oxidised silver details in order to provide depth. This level of delicacy is reminiscent of the late Ottoman decorative style, as well as steeped in traditional jewellery techniques. Accents of colors brought by semi-precious and precious stones, such as pink and orange coral, rubies and turquoises, inject the right amount of chromatic vivacity to match the liveliness of the little flying insects.
