Beneath our Feet, Under our Eyes
Both utilitarian and decorative, Aida Bergsen’s looking glass pendants hark back to Victoriana, with a dash of Alice in Wonderland’s spirit. The designer’s favorite flora and fauna motifs adorn the frames with the same level of intricacy as in all her jewels. It almost feels as if each looking glass has just been hand-picked from the floor of an enchanted forest. Each is a vibrant microcosm: here a snake wrapped around a branch, there a lizard gliding for cover under a bindweed plant, or a flock of auspicious swallows swirling around the central lens.
